Wild West Boat Tours has over 30 years of sea angling experience in Blacksod Bay, welcoming fishing parties from around the world. We cater for everyone, from first-time novices to highly experienced anglers, offering a professional and enjoyable fishing experience in one of Ireland’s richest fishing grounds.
This angling experience typically lasts approximately 2 hours, with longer trips of up to 6 hours available for private bookings. All rods and tackle are supplied on board. In good weather, we recommend bringing sun cream and a sun hat, while also being prepared for rain – this is the Wild Atlantic Way. If you feel unwell at any stage, please inform the skipper, who will be happy to assist.

Fish Species
Blacksod Bay offers an exceptional variety of species including Bass, Cod, Conger Eel, Flounder, Gurnard, Ling, Pollack, Ray, Skate, Tope, Wrasse, and two types of shark – Porbeagle and Blue Shark. If it swims, we can catch it.

Our boats are fully equipped with radars, sounders, fish finders, and all rods and tackle are provided. Our experienced skippers have extensive local knowledge of fishing grounds and species, ensuring the best possible angling experience.
